A confused man standing in the middle. All around him green line drawing hands point to him. A symbolic representation of "pointers to myself"

Hello everyone,

It’s been a while here. I’ve been busier than usual (in a good way mostly), and this has meant that I need to replan and rethink my various goals. The thing you learn viscerally with freelancing is that work peaks and falls wildly making everything around it go through their own sinusoidal journey.

This has also been a period where I’ve got a little confused in terms of how I’m spending my time and whether I am allocating the right amount of time to the things I want to do. So, I sat and wrote down tenets or pointers to myself - things I’ve read, picked up or learned over the last few years that have helped me find direction.

  1. If something feels intensely interesting, find time to pursue it.

  2. Feeling confused about what to create? Go back to an audience of one. (myself) (Rick Rubin)

  3. Outcomes happen. Inputs have to be done.
